Overview
Payment Restriction for Magento 2 lets store owners hide or limit payment methods at checkout based on flexible, admin-defined rules - cart total, weight, item count, destination country/region/postcode, customer group, website, and more. Restrictions are evaluated the same way Cart Price Rules are, so the condition-builder UI will feel immediately familiar to any Magento admin, and rules apply consistently across the storefront checkout, GraphQL, REST, and admin order creation.

No. The extension automatically pulls the payment method list from the payment methods currently enabled in Magento. If you enable or disable a payment method in Stores → Configuration, the available list is updated automatically.
Yes. Payment restrictions can be applied to both guest and logged-in customers. You can use customer groups and other conditions to control which payment methods are available.
Yes. The payment restriction rules are applied consistently across the storefront checkout, GraphQL, REST requests, and Magento Admin order creation.
No. Changes to payment restriction rules take effect without clearing the cache. However, changes made to the extension's configuration under Stores → Configuration may require you to flush the Magento cache.
